Introductions
First impressions are formed in 6 seconds. We will teach how to make a proper introduction and the best way to make a good first impression.
Conversation topics
Students learn proper mealtime topics how to hold a conversation and some good listening skills.
The knife
Students learn what each knife is used for,and how to control it. They learn how each utensil works together. The different styles of eating, American and Continental are practiced.
The spoon
There are four steps to eating soup with a spoon.
The parfait spoon is different. Also learned
is eating dessert with a spoon and a fork
The fork
Students learn the different forks and how to read a table. Understanding the lay out and why there is more that one fork.
Thank you cards
We teach the four required sentences in a thank you card.
Telephone & cell phone etiquette
Students practice placing or answering a call. How to take down a message.
Five course meal
Students get to show off their newly acquired skills. We serve a five course meal and students will be using their napkins correctly. They will also know how to use a finger bowl with flair. Each student gives a short presentation during the meal.
